Building Information Modeling (BIM) is defined as the process of creating and using digital models for the use in design, construction, and operations of facilities.  The CFP Group believes BIM is the future of building and construction documentation. The creation of the built environment is more than an aesthetically based endeavor.  Good design should include addressing budgetary constraints, operational issues, safety, security and sustainability. BIM has the capacity to address all these issues concurrently ensuring that project benchmarks are being met every step of the way.

CFP has been committed to the implementation and use of BIM technology in our design process since 2007. It has proven to be an invaluable resource in working with our contractors and owners in adding value and cost savings to the design and construction of facilities.  As technologies of BIM further develop, additional benefits will be realized.
